About Jason Merrin
Jason got his start making flipbooks out of Post-Its when he should have been paying attention in 5th grade math. From there he branched out into many other forms of not paying attention, and continued to make movies on the side. Today Jason works as a writer, director, and animator. His work includes music videos for AJR and Andy Grammer, documentary pieces for the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda and the University of Pennsylvania, corporate videos for Harris Allied and VSA Consulting Group, and a number of award winning short films, cartoons and screenplays. His first feature film, Sleepwalkers, was completed in 2014.
Jason attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering studying Digital Media Design. He's previously worked for Sony Music Entertainment in the Video and Content Production Department, and at Microsoft Studios in their Narrative Department.
